We visited Sarwaa Cafe around 5 PM, and it was an exhilarating experience perched atop a stunning cliff, offering one of the most breathtaking views imaginable. The cafe's ambiance is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that complements the surrounding natural beauty. The coffee was rich and aromatic, and the sandwiches were not only fresh but also beautifully presented. However, the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the smoothie bowls; they were nothing short of extraordinary, bursting with flavor and beautifully arranged - truly a must-try that's worth savoring. As we enjoyed our refreshments, we were treated to a spectacular sunset that painted the sky in vibrant hues of orange and pink. Additionally, the cafe provides access to a charming beach, accessible via a scenic staircase, inviting you to take a stroll by the water's edge. If you find yourself in Varkala, this cafe is an absolute must-visit destination for both its delightful menu and its unparalleled views.

An absolute gem! With breathtaking views of the sea and Pinterest-worthy photo spots straight out of a fairytale , this cafe is pure magic. Loved their healthy fruit salads and smoothie bowls -- best enjoyed with a refreshing cold coffee while soaking in the view. The staff are super sweet and welcoming , and there's even direct access to the sea right from the cafe! We sometimes dropped by just to click pictures, and they happily let us -- no pressure to order anything. That's rare and heartwarming A must-visit in Varkala for good vibes, great food, and unreal views

A wonderful cafe with a stunning sea view! The ambience is so relaxing, and it's the perfect place to sit back, enjoy the breeze, and watch the waves. The food and drinks were fresh and tasty, served with a warm smile. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Cafe Sarwaa is a lovely cafe with a extremely gorgeous Cliff view. This cafe offers delicious smoothie bowls, sandwiches etc. Very friendly and attentive staff. The Highlight of this cafe is the amazing cliff view, access to the beach, and the cozy, relaxing vibe. Make sure of reaching early, well before Sunset to find yourself corner seating option at the Cafe. PS:- As it is, located on Varkala's Southern Clifftop the views are to die for. To me, it seemed perfect Sundowner place in Varkala to gaze the gorgeous Sunset from such a scenic location. Highly recommended for visiting, when in Varkala. Even if you'll browse/Google for properties in Varkala, one will surely find Cafe Sarwaa in top three places to visit in Varkala.

I loved it here. Beautiful view, decent food, excellent Indian strong coffee. I came every day during my stay next door. The other reviews aren't wrong about service, you do have to flag them down. But I was never in a rush so I just kicked back and enjoyed the view. Maybe not the spot for you if you're in a hurry or your kid is starving. Otherwise, I really loved having this cafe next to my hotel. I also wanted to comment on the reviews about "rude" staff. Just because they don't smile doesn't mean they're rude.
