I had veg Kerala meals here and really liked it. The food tasted fresh and homely, with just the right amount of spice. Each item on the plate had good flavor and felt nicely prepared. The place is small, with seating for about 30 people, but it's somewhat clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and quick with the service. Overall, it's a nice spot if you want a good Kerala-style vegetarian meal. I'd surely recommend it.
In the heart of Mattanur. Been eating here for the past two years, more times than I would like to admit. Never ever had any problem with the food. This is a pure vegetarian place, which is hard to find in this part of Kerala. Place is decent. The workers, most of them are senior citizens so dont't mind the demenour and delay in service. The food is of very good quality at that price. Not at all profit minded business or the people running this place. Must have vegetable biriyani here. If you like Kerala style meals, then you will love the meals here. It gets really crowded after 1PM except on Sat and Sun. Morning breakfast options are tasty and dirt cheap when compared with other places. The place is up for expansion but not yet complete. Won't recommend for people looking for a quiet ambiance place with good service and comfortable sitting.
Ambience was basic. Pure veg. Good service Puttu was good Idli was good Idiyappam was not hot and it was little hard. Potato curry was good. Green pea curry was average. Chutney was very thin like water and sambar was good. Overall the guy suggested me to buy 3 portions of potato curry and 2 portions of green pea curry to eat 4pc of puttu and 4pcs of idiyappam which was not correct. With that quantity of gravey one can eat 8+8 puttu and idiyappam. Waste of food and money.
One of the best veg restaurant in mattanur town, opposite bus stand, Quick service, Avarege Quality And taste The masala dosa is made with beetroot, so it's a big mistake The color of proper masala dosa is yellow potato masala .
Had a wonderful original Kerala style vegitarian meals . Sambar was excellent taste. Very good service from the staff.
