Had my breakfast here and loved it It's more of a lunch place but I wanted to try the dosa & vada for breakfast Rustic, old fashioned, heritage place that serves dosas, idli, vadas etc The filter coffee was good as well Overall a nice place for a delicious meal be it any time of the day & easy on the pocket as well A minutes' walk from Kozhikode beach
Tried their noon meal. You get two types of rice for 60: ponni rice and Kuruva rice meals. There are always 3 side dishes, pappadam, moru, rasam, sambar, and morukari with the rice. That's the usual lunch menu here. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant. Decent service. Its one of the oldest vegetarian restaurant in Calicut located very near to the beach.
Great value! Located close to Calicut beach, this restaurant is your best veg breakfast option after a morning walk in the beach. I have been a consistent customer for past many years. Since new generation may know a little about this place. I highly recommend if you are looking for a veg breakfast option. No over hype, no marketing, Just authentic flavour! Try their podi dosa which the might not mention, also try their upma, curd/sambar vada which they serve with their iconic coconut chutney.
Sree Venkateshwara Hotel is one of the older establishments in Kozhikode, but it still maintains a strong reputation, especially for its delicious food. The dosa items here are particularly excellent -- crispy, flavorful, and served fresh. The overall taste and quality of the food are impressive. However, some items on the menu are slightly on the higher side in terms of price. Also, parking is a challenge, as the facility is quite limited. Despite these minor drawbacks, it's a great place to enjoy traditional South Indian food.
