One of the key spot for fish meals in Calicut.. I enjoyed the fish meals along side fish fry. Their fish fry masala is very tasty you can buy extra mast and mix the masala with the rice, and enjoy the heaven . Price is on higher side for avoli fry they charge 210 and rice 70,

Finally tried this place after hearing so much hype. The meals are priced at 70, but I felt it's not reasonable since there aren't enough side dishes to justify the price. We also tried the avoli fry, which is priced at 210. Considering it's Calicut, where fish is easily available, the price felt a bit on the higher side. However, the fish was fresh. In my opinion, if you just want to try the fish, it's better to have it without the meals. They have parking area for four wheels.

IT is just behind the Gokulam Grand Hotel in Kozhikode town near by baby memorial hospital, but it is difficult to describe exact location as it is on the narrow street beside Gokulam Grand Hotel. Parking lot is available nearby the mess. Fish fry with meals is highly recommend. It is one among the most preferred mess operated by man since 30 years. Open from 11.30 am till 3.30pm

Visited Amma Mess around 12:30 to avoid the rush, and it turned out to be a great experience. The service and care were good, and the food was served hot and fresh. The fishes were especially tasty and well-prepared. This place is a must-try for anyone who enjoys budget-friendly, homely meals. Their specialties are the traditional meals paired with spicy fried fishes - simple, flavorful, and satisfying. Highly recommended for those who want authentic taste without burning the pocket.

Simple meal with yummy fish fry. They provide fresh fish which is the main attraction. Really delicious and spicy masala provided with the fish fry. Fast and prompt service. Customer service is commendable. Extremely busy during lunch time yet they keep up to it. A nice place to have meals and yummy fish fries.
