Karayil Shalimar Restaurant Kanhangad

We ate paratha +one quarter alfaham between 08:30pm to 09:00pm, paratha is good, but one quarter alfaham is 130 rupees. salimar kanhangadu serves alfaham which does not do justice to the value money given. We can get better tasting alfaham for 110 rupees from Kozhikode and Malappuram restaurants. I hope you understand the problem and move better

Worst biriyani experience! We ordered 2 regular chicken biryani, quantity was good, each biryani had 2 big pieces. Then in both the biryani the leg piece was half cooked and there was chicken blood inside the leg piece, we informed the management but they didn't even give an apology. Biryani also gave me stomach ache!

I tried their biriyani - it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich, rice perfectly cooked, and the portion was generous. Highly recommend this place if you're craving authentic and tasty biriyani!

A more inviting and comfortable setting would enhance the overall dining experience. Overall: Despite the ambience, Shalimar Restaurant excels in delivering delicious food and excellent service. Very disappointing experience. We went to this restaurant and were completely ignored by the staff. Despite only a medium rush, the waiter didn't bother to even acknowledge us for a good 15 minutes. Every time we tried to get his attention, he just said, "Wait, I'll come," and never did. After finally managing to place an order Poor service, lack of basic courtesy, and zero professionalism. Would not recommend at all.
