Swargam

Swargam offers a truly pleasant dining experience right on the edge of the Kumbalangi Backwaters. The atmosphere is a major highlight--it feels genuinely warm, welcoming, and impeccably neat and clean. We were fortunate to get a table very near the water, which made for a beautiful and serene lunch setting. The Food For our meal, we ordered the Prawns Roast, Squid Roast, and Kalanji Fry. The Prawns Roast was quite good, with a flavorful roast masala, though it was unfortunately a little light on salt. The Squid Roast was nicely prepared and enjoyable. The standout dish, however, was the Kalanji Fry served with an accompanying onion salad--it was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. We had Sambar, Fish Curry gravy, and Rasam available as gravy options with the meal. Drinks and Dessert They offer fresh juice for those who prefer a fresh juice at the end to their meal. However, it's worth noting for dessert lovers that you'll need to visit a separate Kulfi shop located in the cafe's parking area. Overall Despite the slight lack of salt in the prawns, Swargam provided a genuinely good dining experience. The fantastic location, combined with the warm atmosphere and the quality of dishes like the Kalanji Fry, makes it a spot worth visiting for a relaxing and tasty meal.

Lovely ambience - had their kaanthari chicken, kallappam, noolputtu and swargam beef. The swargam beef is soo good Loved their sulaimani - the time I spend their was totally worth it, the views the food - the service - perfect. I'd visit again to try more Nb: I couldn't capture perfect pictures..

The ambience was the best part of this restaurant, especially with its beautiful setup by the backwaters that created a calm and relaxing vibe. The food, however, was quite average and the service was not up to the mark. The staff only informed us about what was available after we placed the order, leaving us with limited choices. Even after serving, they asked if we wanted another dish that had just been prepared, which felt disorganized. Overall, it's a great spot to enjoy the backwaters and atmosphere, but the dining experience could be much better with improved service and food consistency.

Very nice ambiance, good food, we came here at the evening just before sunset, highly recommended to at this time. Also came across magician anas, showed us some cool tricks, he is here in evening on Sundays .

Had an amazing time at Swargam Restaurant! The food was super tasty and full of flavor The ambience is just perfect -- cozy, classy, and so relaxing. Definitely a place I'd love to visit again! Must try Kattan chai...
