We went there for lunch. They initially said that South Indian meals are over and asked to look for other options. After a short while we saw them serving the same in other tables. For this they replied that some curries are over and if we are ok with that then, meals could be served. We said it's fine we will have whatever is available in the South Indian meals. It had some 3 curries, sambar and curd. In the bill the full amount for meals were taken against which we enquired what would be there if full meals were given and if it was significantly reduced, it's not fair to charge the same amount. They replied that only curry would have been extra and we will have to pay in full. We still don't know if this adds up, but we weren't up for squabbles. Anyways the service here was extremely poor in this regard. Food was also just okayish.

We wanted to taste authentic Kerala food. I requested a dish which was not served during the evening hours.. they made my favorite Puttu with soy masala and boy! It hit the spot. Totally authentic. We had lemon rice, Kochi Porotta, Ela Ada, Filter Coffee and Horlicks! It was nostalgic having food from our hometown. Huge shout out to Rajesh who made our visit at Ottupura very special. Highly recommend!!

It is one of the good vegetarian restaurants in Ernakulam. There is good variety of vegetarian options with items lite peri peri poori, chaat options, south Indian and north indian dishes in their menu. And they have ample parking space too which is a big highlight.
