Kitchens family restaurant

I ordered chemmeen roast, they gave me chemmeeen thala roast. It was like 5-6 prawns and 12 or more heads.

Good food and service. We had Chicken fried rice, tandoor roti and butter chicken. Food was really good. They have ample parking space. We went in here in a busy hour, as expected we had to wait to place our order and also to get the food too. Family space is in upstairs. It is more like a house modified to a restaurant. Overall I would rate it a 4 out of 5.

The mandhi I had today at this hotel was the worst I've ever eaten in my entire life. The rice was dry and flavorless, and the meat was tough. It was a completely bland and disappointing dish. I was very let down by the quality of the food.

I really excited to finally try Kitchens restaurant bwasecause it's so famous around here. I went for lunch and ordered the common mandhi, expecting something special. But honestly, it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I've had with mandhi. The rice was so overcooked and mixed with way too much masala that it became almost juicy -- which is never how mandhi rice is supposed to be. Around this area, mandhi usually has light, fluffy rice with mild flavors. Just yesterday, I had mandhi at a couple of nearby hotels, and it tasted completely authentic and delicious. So I know for sure what I got here was not right at all. When I asked the manager about it, the reply was just, "This is the common rice we serve." That response felt careless and dismissive, especially when the dish clearly didn't match the standard of mandhi in this region. On top of that, the staff's behavior was poor -- no effort to explain, no care for customer feedback. And to make matters worse, the price was ridiculously high for what they served. It didn't feel worth it at all. I came here expecting a good experience at a famous spot, but I walked away completely disappointed. The food, service, and attitude were all below par. I honestly wouldn't suggest this restaurant to anyone looking for mandhi. There are far better options nearby where you'll get authentic flavor and respectful service for a fair price.

When i passing through chockli i noticed this restaurant, but only get time few days back to visit there. My first impression was great of the front side but inside this hotel there is a lack of An ambiance.I wish they will improve it. The rooms are tiny and ventilation is veryless so there is considerably high temperature inside the room.(it seems like it is an house turn into resturant)(i didn't visit the AC section). There is an absolute lack of interior designing inside the "food rooms". Now talking about the behavior of the staff, they take order fast and deliver fast. But the plate i get was broken in it's outer part. I ask him to replace it and he replace it with even more broken plate. So i thought i will eat food on it and share photos here. That is the main reason apart from ambiance i reduce one star. Otherwise i will go for Four star. Taking about the food, it was delicious. I really enjoyed the food. But other stuffs disappointed me.
