I visited this restaurant as part of finding the best masala dosa in Alappuzha town. It's a small veg restaurant with limited dining space. I tried their masala dosa - very average, nothing special. They served 2 chutneys + sambar, and charged 75. Didn't earn a ranking from my side.
I visited this place twice and both the times my experience was good. One day I went to have lunch and got chole bhature, which was very huge and I couldn't finish it. The person who served the food, smiled and asked me why I haven't eaten it all. As a person living away from home and hometown, I really felt happy that someone enquires with care. The next time, I went for a morning coffee. The inside of the hotel was full at that early hours and hence I decided to take a seat out. Got a good cup of coffee for just 20rs. Overall the food, the ambiance and the service everything is extraordinary.
I had a poor experience with the food delivery from this hotel. I ordered a set of poori and curry, but the meal fell short of expectations. The poori, which should have been light and crispy, arrived flat and greasy, with a chewy texture that indicated it had been sitting out for too long. The curry was even more disappointing: it had a sour, off-putting smell and tasted as though it was clearly spoiled. The hotel management should be more responsible in handling online orders.
I recently faced a frustrating experience with this restaurant via Swiggy. I ordered two poori sets with curry, assuming each set would include three pooris, as is typical for such meals. However, I only received two pooris in total, which was unexpected and disappointing. The total cost of 206 felt unjustified for the reduced serving size. When I raised the issue with Swiggy's support, I initially hoped to receive the correct order. Unfortunately, the restaurant refused to provide what I had paid for. As a resolution, Swiggy offered a refund , which I reluctantly accepted. However, this did not address the inconvenience caused, particularly since the order was intended to serve my family.
It's a veggie joint with plenty of variety in the menu...has ample of seating area...tried some of their best sellers... N here how I would rate them Chana masala bhature... 4.5/5 Masala dosa... 4/5
