Ainmane Speciality Store - A Great Local Find in Virajpet
I visited Ainmane Speciality Store in Virajpet during my Coorg trip and was impressed by the variety and quality of local products. The store offers a great selection of Coorg spices, coffee, chocolates, pickles, and ingredients used in traditional Kodava cuisine.
I bought Ghir coffee chocolate, paput thari, kadmut thari, and akki podi--all fresh and well-packed. These are essential ingredients for making dishes like paputtu and kadambuttu, and the taste was authentic.
The service was excellent. Nadheem, a staff member, was very helpful--he explained the products, gave good suggestions, and even helped carry everything to the car.
The store is clean, well-organized, and gives you a true feel of local Coorg culture. It's more than just shopping--it's a cultural experience. If you're visiting Coorg, I highly recommend stopping by Ainmane for quality products and warm service

The place is decent with a good collection of spices and chocolates. But they have obscenely high prices. Atleast 50% premium on market rates. I am sure a quick search in local stores in Virajpet will give you better value for money.
