Being a rider we often find gems of places for breakfast and GTR was one of them. Easily accessible from the highway, the restaurant was a nice breakfast destination for morning adventurers. Food quality was worth mentioning, as I tried the mini combo having a taste of almost all common tiffin items. Dosa was well balanced in the way it was cooked. The Medhu Vada was crispy and properly made with a batter which fermented to perfection (often I encounter bit too sour Vadas at other places). The other dishes kept pace on quality and the closure was with an optimally sweet Kesari bath. The hospitality of the hoteliers and their staff was noteworthy. They gave due attention to us who were almost 50 riders.
Dont expect the spacefor fine dining, but if you want to treat your tastebuds then recommend this location

Had a wonderful food experience. Really tasty food at affordable price range. They also take bulk orders on chutney, sambar etc. Place is well maintained and hygienic. My only complaint is goli baje wasn't served piping hot & fresh - they can't make fresh batch for every order which is understandable; although they heated it up before serving.

An average hotel which recently got opened in Tumkur. The prices are nominal. They are not serving all the items in their menu. When we went many items like bisible bath, pulioyogere and Poori was not there. They need to improve a lot in maintaining cleanliness.

Don't think all the items listed in menu are available. For name sake they put many items. Thatte idly , pudi idly , pudi dosa some other items listed in menu are not available. Also they will not give single Khali dosa you have to take 2 dosa only costs 50. We took madur vada that was over roasted/boiled (seedogittu). Other items Taste was okok , but it was costly and in dosa they put more soda. Overall this place is not for poor people and students. Overated. Quantity is very less
