Food review: Shiraguppa doesn't offer many quality hotel options, especially if you're looking to break your journey and relax with a cup of coffee. The entire stretch of the main road is in a very poor condition, and you won't spot many places where you can comfortably park and unwind. Among the limited choices, this hotel stands out -- mainly because there's nothing better around. It has two dining sections: an open area and a fine dining space. The fine dining area is air-conditioned but has a fairly basic ambience. Service is decent, though you shouldn't expect professional standards in a place like this. A major drawback is the presence of flies, which can be bothersome during your meal. Food is just about okay -- not extraordinary, but passable. The pricing seems reasonable considering the quality and location.
