Sagar Ratna was suggested to us by a local for lunch. The Sagar Express is located at a junction, which makes it a perfect stop for a break. It connects major routes like Dharmasthala, Mangalore, Udupi, and Padubidri from Karkala. We stopped here for lunch and ordered Paneer Tikka and Rasam Rice. The Paneer Tikka was flavorful and delicious, and the Rasam Rice was very comforting, just what we needed for a long journey. Do try hot gulab jamun here after a tummy full meal. The service was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Even though the place was quite crowded, the management handled it very well. The ambience was nice and pleasant. The washrooms were clean, well-maintained, and hygienic, a big plus during travel.
