We were a group of 6 people looking for a clean, tasty vegetarian lunch spot--and Hotel Samrat Grand exceeded our expectations! What we ordered: Baby Corn Manchurian - Crispy and perfectly spiced Kadai Paneer - Rich, flavorful, and creamy paneer dish Roti (4 pieces) - Fresh, hot, and soft Butter Naan (2 pieces) - Soft with the right buttery touch Veg Noodles - Indo-Chinese style, perfectly tossed Paneer Tikka - Tender and nicely grilled Jeera Rice - Simple and aromatic Dal Tadka - Homestyle comfort in every spoon Fresh Lime Soda (2) - Refreshing and chilled Total Bill: 1255 (for 6 people) - Absolutely worth it! The food was fresh and served hot, with generous portions. The service was quick and polite, and the ambiance was neat and family-friendly. Highly recommended for anyone passing through or Mudigerr, Chikmagalur - especially for vegetarian food lovers!

To be frank, the experience wasn't what I had hoped for. The overall condition of the hotel was quite disappointing. The most significant issue was the cleanliness. The room and bathroom were not well-maintained and showed signs of wear and tear, which made me uncomfortable. It's an older property, and it feels like it hasn't been properly renovated in a long time. On the positive side, the staff were polite and cooperative, which I appreciated. They were friendly and tried to be helpful, and that's the only reason I'm not giving a one-star rating. Hotel Samrat is a very basic, budget option. If you're not picky and just need a place to sleep for one night, it might be okay.
