The food service here is extremely slow -- while one person might get their order, others often have to wait 10-30 minutes or more. One of our dishes was delayed so long that we had to ask for it to be packed to go. We had also ordered a few starters, but some condiments were missing. Even after asking multiple staff members, no one provided an answer, and only after we finished eating did they mention that they had run out of it. For the prices they charge, you can easily find much better service and overall dining experience elsewhere.

I was disappointed with the quality and taste of the food during my recent visit. While Sagar Ratna has been known for serving some of the best food in terms of quality and taste, this time the experience fell short. Dosas and chutneys were tasting bad with no salt at all. The Upma, in particular, was drenched in oil, which affected its overall flavor. The customer service provided was commendable, as the staff was attentive and friendly. The interior of the restaurant was well-maintained, creating a pleasant dining environment. Despite the disappointing food, I appreciate the efforts made by the restaurant in terms of customer service and maintaining cleanliness. Hopefully, they can improve the consistency in taste and quality to regain their reputation as a top-notch eatery.
