Siddalingeshwara Tiffin Centre is a modest little shack located just on the immediate outskirts of Magadi, to the left as you're exiting town on the highway. Though basic in setup, it consistently draws a massive crowd--easily over 100 people at any given time in the morning. It's a strictly breakfast-only joint, operating from 6 AM to around 11 AM, though most items get sold out well before 9:30 AM! The menu is simple but hits the spot--hot idlis, crispy vadas, tasty rice items, and fresh dosas, all served piping hot and in generous portions. The pricing is quite pocket-friendly: 30 for a plate of 2 idlis, 5 for 2 vadas, and 30 for a full plate of rice (15 for half). Everything is served with chutney and a smile, even amidst the chaos. However, the place is extremely crowded and there's minimal space to sit or even stand comfortably. It's ideal for a quick bite, but not for those expecting cleanliness or calm. Overall, a good option for early-morning travellers and locals looking for a quick, tasty, no-frills breakfast. Three stars for the taste and value--but minus points for the overcrowding and lack of basic hygiene.
