A Cozy Spot with a Price Tag I recently visited Paddington Express, and while it has a lovely ambiance and cozy looks, the prices were a bit steep for my pocket. The War of Mugs was a fun experience, but the food was just okay. The Green Salad was fresh, but it felt a bit pricey for the portion size. The overall experience was pleasant, but I'd recommend checking the prices before ordering. Rating: 3/5 stars Recommended for: Cozy atmosphere, War of Mugs experience Not recommended for: Budget-conscious diners Tips: Check prices before ordering, and consider visiting during happy hours for better deals.

We were running late and this was the only spot still serving food and glad we found it! The starters were decent, curries well done, and the overall flavors hit the spot. The breads could've been better, but the whole experience was made special with the cool Coorg breeze and light showers. A warm, satisfying meal to end the day. Happy and full!

We went there yesterday for lunch. While the food was really good, the overall experience was disappointing due to the billing issues. I ordered butter chicken and garlic naan -- the menu showed the price as 70 rupees, but we were charged 80. Similarly, the beer was listed at 190 rupees on the menu, but they charged 220. After a long discussion, they eventually reduced the prices. The waiter explained that the actual prices may differ slightly from what's printed on the menu, which I found quite unreasonable. People rely on menu prices when deciding what to order -- it's unfair to charge differently without any prior notice. Additionally, my kids accidentally broke a water glass, and we were charged 100 rupees for it. After another argument, they canceled the charge. I understand it was our mistake, and I'm also from the hospitality industry -- but I've never seen a place handle things like this. It left a poor impression despite the good food.

I recently visited Paddington Hotel in Madikeri and was quite disappointed with my experience. The food quality was not up to the mark, lacking both taste and freshness. On top of that, the service was poor and slow, which made the overall experience unpleasant. The staff could definitely be more attentive and courteous to guests. I hope the management takes these points seriously and works on improving the food standards and service quality.

Decent tourist place. It is clean, food was fresh. Better than most of the restaurants.
