Shetty Lunch Home is the first choice when it comes to ghee roast. Splendid attitude and warm welcoming ambience all put together to celebrate happy lunch hours alongwith the magical service. Tasted chicken ghee roast with soft neer dosas made it complete heavenly feel. Paradise was there throughout the food journey, enjoyed and glad feeling sitting in an air conditioning room. Butter milk was also magnificent. Kudos to the team of Shetty Lunch Home bringing out ghee roast concept and still preserving it. Need to grab other items of ghee roast sooner .....

Went here for dinner, as usual you have to wait to get table. Since it was my first time here, i was blown away by the taste. It keeps up the reputation for the best ghee roast chicken you can have. We ordered majjige dosa, chicken ghee roast, kane masala fry, silver fish rava fry. Price is on the expensive side. Will definitely visit again. They also have branches in bangalore, will visit there too.

We visited the restaurant on Saturday afternoon, it was not much crowded at got seats without reservation. Enjoyed Chicken ghee roast, which is must to eat, along with prawn tawa fry, chicken finger and neer dosa. They serve liquor as well, which enhanced the taste.

Shetty's Lunch Home in Kundapura is a highly recommended restaurant known for its authentic Mangalorean cuisine, especially the famous prawn Ghee Roast. Fish thali was good, and the curry was yummy too. Bolanjur fish rawa fry was mouthwatering.

If you're a food lover then ghee roast should be in your bucket list and what's better than having it in the place where it's invented. I got the opportunity to try this at the legendary Shetty lunch home in Kundapura. There was not much crowd when we went there for lunch and we got the table easily. We ordered the OG chicken ghee roast and prawns ghee roast. We also ordered the paneer and mushroom ghee roast for our vegetarian friends and ordered the neer dosa for all of us. We couldn't get the maggige dosa that day. It took sometime to get the food. But when we got it, we were blown away by the taste of it and realized why it has so much of craze. The gravy is literally cooked in 10% ghee and the aroma was fantastic. Chicken dish was too much in quantity and it would easily serve 3-4 people, but apart from that other three dishes were less in quantity. I didn't like the prawns as much as chicken because the prawns were too big in size and didn't have too much of flavor in themselves. All the taste was coming just from the gravy. My veg friends said both the paneer and mushroom ghee roast are good. We also ordered their famous Kane masala fry but disappointed with its taste. They serve alcohol as well. Service is slow since they cook the dishes in ghee roast after we place the order. Overall, we were really happy with the food here. We spent Rs.4,000 for four of us.
