About the restaurant great staff, however price to portion sizes seems like a rip off we ordered Masala dosa's and upon seeing the quantity of potato filling were absolutely shocked especially realising that you are paying 70 for a Masala dosa serving, the food here is average not too bad.... would I recommend this place if you are needing a stop sure. Else I'd recommend going somewhere else

Reliable Stop for Authentic Coastal Food We first visited Prameela Restaurant in Honnavar back in 2019 by chance. They were almost closing for lunch, but the staff still welcomed us -- and that turned out to be one of the most memorable seafood lunches along NH66. This small but popular seafood restaurant in Honnavar serves fresh, flavourful dishes that truly reflect the authentic Mangalorean coastal taste. From the fish thali to prawn and crab preparations, everything was cooked with care and rich local spice. On our recent Dussera weekend trip, we decided to revisit Prameela while returning. Again, we reached just before closing time, and luckily got a seat. We ordered Anjal Rava Fry, Squid, and a few other items. While most dishes tasted good, the Anjal Rava Fry and Squid didn't fully meet expectations -- the squid was slightly overcooked and turned a bit rubbery. Still, the rest of the meal was satisfying and flavourful. The restaurant usually stays busy during lunch hours, so expect a short wait -- but it's worth it for the taste and freshness. Another big plus for travellers is that Prameela has a clean restroom, something rare yet essential for anyone on a long coastal drive. Compared to other highly rated seafood places nearby, Prameela remains one of the most reliable and value-for-money options in Honnavar. It's a great stopover for anyone travelling along the coastal highway who wants authentic Mangalorean seafood in a simple, local setup. Prameela Restaurant is one of the best places to enjoy seafood in Honnavar, Bhatkal. I had a fantastic dinner with my friends--the seafood was fresh and delicious, and the overall experience was memorable!

I stopped for lunch coming back from Honnavar mangrove walk. I got good tasty non veg food. Wide range of variety menu and at good affordable prices. Food:- 4/5 Ambience:- 3.5/5 Money:- 4/5 Service:- 5/5

Fish was fresh and tasty... well marinated and yummy.
