If I'm in Hassan on a weekday morning, I would definitely visit this place. I'm not a fan of this place during weekend due to the unimaginable crowd. The restaurant has kept its old charm in terms of the ambience. May it be wooden tables and chairs or the old school food showcases or the rustic interiors. Everything makes you feel like you are in 90's. I love their ambience. The service on weekdays is really quick and to the point. Most of the people who work here has decades of experience and knows how to handle the customers. Their genuine way of greeting and on time delivery of food just wins my heart. I usually have Thuppa Set Dose here which is signature dish. They serve 3 set of soft dosas with chutney, onion palya & thuppa combination as side dish which gives an elegant taste to the set dosa. I love this combination so much so that I usually need 2-3 times refill of chutney bowl for 3 set dosa. Also the Vada will be really good with right amount of outer crispiness and soft interior. Food can never disappoint you in here. The pricing is very nominal. The hygiene factor is good but lack of soap dispenser at hand wash is really let down. They do accept UPI and cash for payment. Overall, I highly recommend this place for it's legend, old school charm and fantastic thuppa set dose! -BeingBakasura

We recently visited 'Sri Gajanana Refreshments' in Hassan and had a pleasant experience. We tried their Idli, Ghee Dosa, and Ricebath (Palav), followed by a cup of tea. The Idli was soft and good in taste, while the Ghee Dosa had a nice crisp texture and mild flavor. The highlight of our meal was definitely the Ricebath -- it was rich in taste, perfectly spiced, and very satisfying. Ending the meal with their hot tea made the experience even better. Overall, a nice place for a simple and tasty South Indian breakfast in Hassan.

After watching an Instagram reel about this restaurant, we decided to try it out -- and it did not disappoint! The Set Dosa was super tasty (especially with the original ghee in the chutney). The Vada, Kheer, Rava Idli, and Bisi Bele Bath were all outstanding, and the prices were surprisingly low. Highly recommend this place to all food lovers.

This is the spot for those who love doses any at any time. Morning breakfast, lunch, evening tea or dinner.l, you get good doses anytime you go there. Their signature ghee set dose is their main highlight, but also their butter masale dose was equally fantastic. Must visit when you are at Hassan.

We ate breakfast here today. I ordered One Curd Vada and Tuppa Chutney Set Dose. My wife and friends ate Benne Khali Dose. All three Dishes were good. Tuppa Chutney Set Dose must try.
