Visited Niyaz Restaurant in Gokak -- the ambience and service were quite good, but the food didn't really justify the price. We tried a mix of dishes -- veg & chicken manchow soups, butter roti, chicken lollypop, chicken curry, paneer tikka, crispy corn, and both veg & chicken biryani. Honestly, only the chicken biryani stood out; the rest were pretty average. Overall, good vibes but food could use a serious upgrade for the price they charge.
They served very tatsy food. I ordered chicken maharaja masala which was sufficient for 5 people.
Our experience at Niyaz Hotel's Gokak outlet was a culinary catastrophe! This eatery earned the dubious distinction of being the worst I've ever had the misfortune of visiting. The wash area was a breeding ground for bacteria, a stark contrast to the spotless standards one expects. Our orders - Chicken Hot and Sour Soup, Chicken Biryani, Schezwan Noodles, and Royal Falooda - were a mixed bag of mediocrity. The soup and noodles were unremarkable, the biryani was flavorful but served in pitiful portions, and the chicken pieces were laughably small. The falooda, if you could even call it that, was an abomination - a cloying sugar syrup with a splash of cream, more akin to kulfi than the rich dessert we anticipated. If you're keen on savoring the authentic flavors of Niyaz, steer clear of this outlet and head to the Belgaum flagship instead. While the main branch consistently raises the bar, its satellite outlets are woefully inadequate, plagued by a precipitous decline in quality and a blatant disregard for culinary excellence
Biryani is famous in your Niyaz branch but Sohail's service is famous in Gokak branch, his way of serving is different, he treats us like his guests, more than food he fills our stomach with his sweet talks, Sohail's service is very very good, very good Sohail, keep working like this, good work.
Wonderful atmosphere, tasty food, and outstanding service. A big thank you to Husain Peerzade for making us feel so comfortable and well taken care of. Will surely visit again.
