The hotel also offers rooms for lodging, however, the rooms are not capacious, not maintained clean enough. Coming to the food, best for breakfast, lunch and dinner items unavailable/ abysmal, would recommend only if needed in dire urgent, else, better hotels available nearby. But the highlights were present in the breakfast, outstanding service.
Mediocre rooms, no hot water in rooms, even if u get it, it will be Luke warm water. Their tumbler is slightly bigger than the dustbin, its managements mentality that you pay but don't use the basic amenities. They say 7 to 11 am you will get hot water but you wont get it even if it is 8 or 9 am that too after chasing the manager, so much tantrums as if they are doing a favour to you. If you are with family this is not recommended at all. There is no designated parking, you need to park it on the road itself, during peak hours your car will be surrounded by two wheelers.
Hotel rooms are clean. There is restaurant below the lodging floor. This helped seniors to have food on time and without much hastle. Rooms were quite confortable and Sunil who helped us to settle down was helpful in most of the requirements. Alcohol is not allowed inside. Regarding restaurant we tried masala dosa uttappam poori, all were good. Tea was very nice over and above.
It's located in Gadag on ring road..it's a Udupi Hotel..Good items of vegetarian available here..
