This restaurant just goes by the saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover". The moment you encounter this place in the narrow streets, hardly any place to park. Restaurant looks normal from outside. Once you get in one can observe it clean and neat. It's a self service and find difficult to find a place to stand and eat. Masala Dosa : 10/10. Tastiest masala dosa i have ever tasted 50 Rs as of May 2025. Thatee Idly /Yekaree idly : 9/10. Very fluffy and spongy. 2 big triangle slices served with hard Chuttney and running aloo sagoo. 40 Rs as of May 2025 Mix rice (Chitranna or Lemon rice and Pulav) : 8/10 Pulav is plain and tasty. Lemon rice is also prepared in home style. There are few more varieties like Kharabath, different varieties of dosa to try for. Overall if you don't care the ambience but want tasty food this is the place to try out and it's worthy.

If you are fine eating standing out on the kerb, then this is the place for you. Parking for 2W is available but 4W is an issue. Easily accessible to wheelchair too. And most importantly, don't get distracted to the hotel next to this. Looks are decieving. We were first on a chilly Saturday and had to wait a bit for our food. The crowd began as soon as the service started. We opted for the pulao as dosa was not ready. The pulao was good with right amount of spices and the chutney ensured the spiciness was negated. The paneer masala dosa was the speciality on the day and it didn't disappoint a bit. High on spices, you need a generous amount of chutney to overcome it. It was nice to taste and we enjoyed it. By the time we finished this, we were full. Definitely recommend this place for the Saturday special dosa. Will go back to taste other delicacies too.

Muddanna hotel is a legend. With the family expanding their business across Bengaluru, this hotel spread its wings to more areas around. Among all their branches, I found this to be the best. Manageable crowd, piping hot dishes served fresh, unmatchable taste. Truly legendary, I must say. Must try: Pulav, Sabbakki Idli & Sabbakki Masala dosae

I've visited SLN Muddanna Tiffin Room several times, and each visit has been a delight! The Paneer Masala Dosa and Mushroom Masala Dosa are by far my favorites - I've never come across anything like them anywhere else in Bangalore. The flavors are unique and absolutely delicious. The Rice Bath and Idli with chutney are always spot on, with amazing taste every time. If you're looking for authentic South Indian dishes with a twist, this place is a must-try. It's my go-to spot for consistently tasty Breakfast!

A classic old school gem of a place for some amazing food such as idly, dosae and pulav. The best part is that the idly and dosae are made with sabsige soppu (dill leaves) and that adds to the taste 10x A must visit for people who know about this place but haven't gone yet and for people who didn't know this existed.
