You are going here for nothing but the food! The benne or ghee dosa is the best! The crust is perfect balance by the spongy interior. The chutney, though not needed, take the dosa to the next level. Ordered my favorite kesai baath for a sweet treat. Finished off with filter coffee.

I had heard a lot about the famous masala dosa at CTR, Malleshwaram, but honestly, it felt a bit overhyped. The dosa was fine in taste but didn't really live up to all the high expectations set by reviews and word of mouth. It was crisp and buttery, but nothing exceptional that stood out compared to many other popular dosa places in Bangalore. I also tried the Mangalore bonda, which was good but quite regular -- something you'd get in most South Indian hotels. Overall, it felt like a decent, regular tiffin experience rather than something worth all the buzz. The place is always crowded, and while it gives that old-Bangalore charm, the food experience didn't feel extraordinary for me. Good to visit once for the name

This place doesn't need any validation for its food. Classic vibes, more than perfect food and a happy soul is served here If you visit this place, then don't miss Benne Masala Dosa, Mangaluru Bajji and Coffee. Everything is good but the mentioned food items are outstanding. Whenever you go, just know that this place is always full and you need to stand in a 15-20mins queue and wait for your turn to get a seat. But!!! The wait is Worth It!

I had ordered masala dose from CTR which is know for its taste and authenticity but unfortunately we found a cockroach in dose which is a disaster. This was one of my favourite hotel for dosa in bangalore and now i am sure i would never visit this place again. CTR is one of the must visit place for anyone who is new to Bengaluru and if there is no proper maintenance, cleanliness it will definitely lose its charm. I called up restaurant too to let them know about my experience. The person who picked up my call told me that it never happened like this earlier and they would be careful next time. We asked them to dump the whole batch of aloo palya which was prepared that day.
