I went to Brahmin Tiffins in JP Nagar yesterday. Only had filter coffee. But that is perhaps the best filter coffee I've had in any Bangalore cafe/restaurant. This is a self-service place, so I went to the service guy and told him exactly what I wanted- very strong filter coffee, no added sugar, so I could add it myself. He gave me exactly that, and it surpassed all my expectations. Excellent coffee, beautiful aroma, no sour aftertaste. Wonderful. (Don't know if I just lucked out and the guy happened to mix it right.. anyway, I will be back there to try some tiffin and of course the coffee..)

The tasty food here is Karabath as it is tangy and stands different from the regular Karabath. But I didn't like the concept of no Sambar as the Bengalore style coconut chutney doesn't go well with all dishes such idli and vada. If you are good with only chutney, then go for it. People who love sambar dip idli and Vada, don't go here. A must try is Karabath. Of course, filter coffee is a final touch that brings a smile on your face

Very very traditional and historical place for your idlis and Dosa. Interested in a Khali dosa ?? Head to Brahmins tiffins. Located in JP Nagar it's the heartbeat of the locals there . Very beautiful served in home fashion in a steel plate , in a sea of chutney, NO sambar mind you and that's the beauty. Idlis are the softest but I loveeee the coffee

Best shavigge,set dosa sagu/chutney I have ever eaten. No belching/burping/bloating thereafter. Extremely satisfied. Coffee and tea are very good too
