This is a self-service hotel with a sitting arrangement, which is convenient as guests can sit and eat comfortably--provided the tables are cleaned. However, it seems like customers themselves need to inform the staff to get the tables cleaned, as the food counter staff hardly respond. Food: The food was quite average, nothing exceptional. The chole bhature was below average--the bhature turned brittle within a minute. Ambience: Average overall. Verdict: A casual place to grab a cup of tea and spend some time with friends, but not recommended if you're expecting great food or attentive service.

If you're in Yelahanka and hunting for a casual spot that serves vegetarian food without burning a hole in your pocket, you can check out Bengaluru Central Cafe. They serve a huge variety of both South Indian and North Indian food. We had Masala dosa, Roti curry, pot biryani, chole batura, rava dosa, onion dosa, baby corn 65. Masala dosa was oily. Chutney not that great. Roti curry - Roti was like rubber. Chole Batura was decent. Batura could have been better. Rava dosa and onion dosa were again decent. Don't know what they gave as Baby corn 65. It doesn't looked or tasted anything like baby corn 65. It was bad. Pot biryani wasn't great. Raita was a saviour there. The space is clean and functional with a self-service setup. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done for a quick bite or a casual meal with friends or family. Best thing - they have seating arrangements! Went on the weekend (Saturday) and found the service to be not that efficient. Took a long time to prepare our dishes. Overall it's not something you will miss out if you don't go there. Parking is something you should be worried about.

The food here is too good and delivery options are also available. The staff is also polite and your order is served within 10-15 minutes. Parking can be an issue and sometimes crowd will be there due to which seats would not be empty.

In Bangalore Central Cafe (Yelahanka) and ordered the Ghee Pudi Masala Dosa and Aloo Onion Paratha. The Aloo Paratha had a decent taste and was served well. However, I was quite disappointed with the Ghee Pudi Masala Dosa, as the masala seemed to be spoiled. Unfortunately, when I brought this to the attention of the cafe management, they denied that there was any issue. This is the second time I've faced the same problem with the dosa, and it's concerning that the management is not willing to acknowledge or address the feedback. I believe food quality and customer feedback should be taken seriously, especially when the issue is recurring.

April 25 : all the same but some serving crew have been unhygienic touching hands here & there before serving food . Bathroom is filthy , difficult to use. Pls put phenyl and clean regularly because of heavy usage . 10th May'24 : Tried again on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya tritiya and still the experience is good enough ( ratings increased ) although paper masala dosa need improvement for sure. It needs to be papery and soft which was not the case today but happy with south Indian meals and paneer butter masala and kulcha . Msg to management: Parcel charges should be waived off for orders above a few hundred bucks ( 300/400 may be ) . 10/04/24 tried mini tiffin @ 49 bucks. Only Idli and khara bath is good rest all items ( vada , dosa , upma & kesri bath ) are too much oily and hence this mini tiffin needs to be improved for sure . Otherwise this is a health hazard. Tried it 1st time today ( 01/04/2024 ) and our experience wasn't bad . Idli vade @ 60 bucks , good only . KA sweet Sambar recipe needs improvement as usual . Idli was soft , the vada was crispy and the chutney was good . Puri is good too . Kurma sagu needs slight improvement. Aloo curry they can offer along with Puri , which always goes well with puri . Some fine day will try their mini tiffin and will share my review here. Available only b/w 6-9 am . Plenty of parking available at the Road side . The washroom hygiene factor is well considered. The crew is cordial on our 1st visit . Will change my ratings further based on my future visits and experiences.
