1. Idly chutney and Vada 2. Idly is so smooth and fresh it will be 3. Vada will be very much crispy and easily more than 2 vadas can be taken and eaten 4. Chutney tastes very good 5. it's been more than 10 years they have been serving these two dishes and very much tasty 6. Reasonable rates with very good food .
Today I visited this restaurant. Prices are okay and idlis were good, but the chutney was watery and tasteless. When I asked the lady for a spoon, she rudely said they don't provide spoons. You can't speak to customers like that -- providing spoons is a very basic thing. Also, the small sink there was dirty and unhygienic.
Visited this place on insistence from a friend who was talking high about the Idlis here. They served only Idlis and vada with chutney (no sambar here). Liked the taste of the Idlis which was very gentle and soft that it almost melted in the mouth. As the Vada's (uddin vada) made its way through from the pond of oil to the huge tray, thought it would be worth a try. It did not disappoint all. The crispiness of the Vada was too good and it was so brittle that it would break easily as you try to eat it. The chutney was a plain simple one. There is no parking available here due to which you will have to turn to the bylanes around the tiffin centre. The price is quite reasonable with a plate of idli vada costing us 30/- only.
Chutney is top notch idli just melts in mouth. Taste is amazing, Everything is good but they only serve idli Chutney and vada no other food options. Bit pricey but ok for the quality. If you like to try other dishes in breakfast you might have to find other hotels after finishing here.
Very clean place to have breakfast.parking availablity is a issue . Rather than that excellent quality food. And the place is very hygeinec. . Overall a nice place to have breakfast.. we get 2 Idles 1 Vade at 30rs.
