an overcrowded and overhyped restro with only not more than decent food .... less veg options..... taste of food is average only ...... took a lot of time to service the food ..... all in all an average resto with average food.
I went here for a quick bite. Ordered the Idli and Veg Chowmine. Although the food tasted good, it was very overpriced. Never had such small idlis for 200 Rs. The ambiance and service is good.

I visited Shelly restaurant with my family on our way to Shimla. The restaurant is conveniently located near the Kalka railway station and has a nice ambiance. The staff was courteous and attentive, and the service was quick. The restaurant offers a variety of cuisines, including Indian, Chinese, and South Indian. We ordered a thali, paneer butter masala, butter chicken, and chowmin. The food was well-presented and tasty, but I felt that the portions were too small and the prices were too high for the quality. The thali was 300, the paneer butter masala was 250, the butter chicken was 280, and the chowmin was 200. I think the restaurant could improve its value for money by offering more quantity or reducing the prices. The hospitality and the inside decoration were the highlights of our dining experience. The restaurant has a cozy and modern decor, with comfortable seating and lighting. The staff was friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. They also offered us complimentary tea and sweets at the end of our meal. I appreciate their gesture and their professionalism. Overall, I would rate Shelly restaurant 3 out of 5 stars. It is a good place to stop by for a quick bite, but not for a lavish meal. The restaurant has a lot of potential, but it needs to work on its pricing and portion size.
