The restaurant has upheld good standards of hygiene, taste and service which leads to a great culinary experience! Traditional Gujarati dishes with roti and small pooris are served at lunch (seems that rotla is served at dinner only). Parking is an issue and waiting time is high due to popularity and heavy rush at lunch time.

A nice place to experience Gujrati thali. The restaurant is popular among locals. The ambience is niece. The service was also good and floor managers keep a hawk eye on every plate and ask servers to server specific food items which you finished off and it seems like how guests being feed at any Indian home. The only thing is they serve only non-shareable thali so come here with empty stomach

There's always a long queue for getting in... But it is surely worth the wait. The food is delicious, so many options that there's something for everyone... Have been visiting it since years, but the staff is warm and serves with affection. The interiors feel warm and traditionally aesthetic. Strongly recommend.

You cannot miss this place if you are in the city. Cannot make reservation. If you wanna enjoy and not wait in line go around 11.30 to 1.30pm. 2pm is peak footfall. Weekdays too. There is a waiting area-they call your name and you are taken to the table. We took 20mins for our turn. So not bad. The food and service is the main deal. The food servers keep coming and start putting food in the bowl, explaining the dishes The places is alive. Every table I glanced, everyone was enjoying the food. My heart was full by taking the 1st few bites itself. The service was great. They were encouraging to try everything and wanted the experince to be good for body and soul. I will come back to ahemdabad for the food again. Thank you guys for making us try the best aamras.

We recently visited Gobardhan Thal, one of the most famous places for traditional thali meals, and the experience was excellent. The highlight here is their authentic Gujarati thali--a complete meal served with warmth and hospitality. The thali comes with everything you could ask for: starters, main course, dal, sweet, rice, roti, and farsan, all beautifully arranged in a single platter. Every item in the thali was flavorful and tasted homely. The starters were fresh, the dal was comforting, and the sweet balanced the meal perfectly. The variety ensures that you get to experience multiple flavors in one sitting, from tangy to sweet and spicy. The ambience is clean and traditional, giving you the feel of a true Gujarati dining experience. The staff was courteous and ensured we were comfortable throughout the meal. If you enjoy traditional Indian thalis or want to experience authentic Gujarati cuisine, Gobardhan Thal is definitely a must-visit.
