This is the kind of meal made from the heart... what your Mom would cook for you. Mama South is run by this most wonderful couple, no words to describe their hospitality & service. We ordered a Veg meal, it was not just delicious but really healthy too..very less oil. Just like you would make at home. The meal was tailor made to our preferences. If there is something more that 5 STAR they deserve it and more.

I'm so glad to have discovered Mama South in Colva! The South Indian veg thali and the veg appam with stew we tried so far, were beyond delicious. Even though it's a takeaway place (they provide home delivery too), the experience has been so much more because of Satish ji and Anita ji and Ananya. Each time we've gone to pick up our order, they've welcomed us with warm smiles and lovely conversations. They are such genuine, kind-hearted people that it feels less like picking up food and more like meeting friends who truly care. Anita ji's passion for cooking and the love with which the food is made, comes through in the taste! For anyone craving super tasty, homestyle South Indian food in South Goa, Mama South is a must try.

I would like to give an honest feedback for the tiffin service of Mama South. For a working professional like me, ordering daily homemade food from them has been a game changer. Ordering outside food and being always unsure about the hygiene and cleanliness was always an issue for me and my wife. And then, uncle and aunty at Mama South offered to tailormake recipes for us. Their food reminds of my mum's food. Definitely recommend them for their daily tiffin service.
