While exploring Diu, I was very intrigued to find a place that not only serves hand crafted ice cream but has had its own line of flavoured soda as well since 1933 & goes by the name Shri Ram Vijay Refreshments. So we went there to try some of their specialties in both of them. We ordered :- Icecream - Rum n Raisins - Coconut - Coffee Soda - Cream Aqua - Cocktail - Lemon - Faluda The beauty about hand crafted icecream are they are tailor made, not mass produced & are always available freshly made compared to other products. All the 3 flavours were really good but the star was their Rum & Raisins. The slight taste of rum came from the soaked dryfruits & the sweetness of ice cream paired with its bitterness was just perfect. In soda all were good but Cream Aqua was something that really stood out. I can't put it in words about what the flavour tasted like but it was very smooth & tasty. After a heavy meal it would be the best thing to have. Their faluda was also good but slightly on the sweet side as compared to ice cream & soda. Overall the place gives the old world charm as not much is changed in regards to interior or technique of making things. A must try place if in Diu.

Best espresso coffee in Diu and maybe all of Gujarat. I was rather surprised, didn't expect to be able to enjoy a real machine Lavazza coffee here.

One of the best old caffe in Diu. Must visit with family and friends. Veg cheese sandwich and ice cream soda recommendations. Different taste. Quality of food are awesome. Clean and hygiene table and food. Must visit if you visit diu. Soda and ice cream are self made and great. Must try.

An absolute must! Everything about this establishment makes it a hub in Diu. Milkshakes that take you back to childhood, crunchy masala fries and thirst-quenching drinks like Vimto or the lemon soda speciality; try it all! The owners and staff add the family feel. It is a definite 'Av Jo' for me

If you are visiting Diu, then taking a trip to this shop is a MUST. This is not just any other ice cream shop! They have a variety of milk shakes, natural ice creams and soda. Must try their cream aqua soda, which is a bliss! Their ice creams are comparable to Natural's ice cream in Delhi. I so so wish that their soda drinks were available elsewhere here is Delhi as well. The shop owner is a very sweet and courteous man. He gave us recommendations for the best flavours to try from his shop. The shop stays close during noon from 2 to 4 so plan your trip accordingly.
