A typical old fashioned bangla hotel alike biriyani house. Every item of them seems overpriced . Half plate Beef tehari is 200 and full is 400 . Even their borhani is 50 per glass !! Whatever the tehari is salty and has the taste of mustard oil . You can try it once for the taste . It's not bad at all .

Tehari Ghar has no branch, which helps them maintain consistent quality and taste. You can enjoy the authentic flavor of Tehari cooked with mustard oil. The generous portions of meat will surely please any beef lover. Salad and borhani are also available. However, the space is quite limited and feels congested. They should pay more attention to hygiene.

Tried their khichuri beef in parcel. It was good but nothing exceptional. The meat was not as tender as expected, the portion was good. The meat to khichuri ration also seemed good for a package. They may need to focus on their beef taste more as khichuri was ok, but beef wasnt well cooked as it needed to be to suggest someone.

One of the oldest Tehari House in Dhanmondi area, well known for its Beef Tehari. I eat here many times from last 13 years. The taste is still same as before. Taste and quality is really better than other tehari houses. Update: The service has been improved and sitting place is quite improved. Space is still very tight, congested. Always overcrowd in pick time specially lunch and dinner time. Also parcel service is very fast now. The taste of Beef Tehari is so good, amazing but Rice quantity and portion size of meat is not commensurate with the price. Because Price is comparing higher than other Tehari houses. If someone is a "TEHARI KHADOK", Then the minimum order should be Full plate. Half plate Tehari can't make him/her statisfy. The Beaf Khichuri is also tasty, though a bit oily. Their service and packaging were good and received my delivery on time.

Undoubtedly this is one of the top 3 teharis in town. If you want the perfect combination of shorishar tel er ghran + well cooked beef + delicious in taste + alu in tehari, this is a must try The khichuri was a disappointment though. Tehari ghor is not the place to have khichuri. The sitting adjustment is very congested. If you mind it then it's recommended to take takeaways.
