Meridian in Jorhat is a total game-changer! I've been hearing rave reviews from everyone I know, and I'm so glad I finally gave it a try. The duck meat with roti was absolutely delicious, and although the price point of around 300 might seem a bit higher, the quantity was more than justified. The ambiance is truly amazing - everything from the decor to the service was perfect. If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience in Jorhat, look no further than Meridian! I recently tried the biryani at this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had with this dish. The presentation and preparation fell short of expectations. The eggs had an unpleasant odor, the accompanying potato was simply boiled with the skin left on, and the chicken was excessively dry and over-fried. The rice appeared to have been tossed in a wok with artificial coloring rather than being layered and infused with authentic biryani flavors. Given these issues, I'm genuinely surprised by the restaurant's high ratings. The dish lacked the aroma, texture, and depth of flavor that define a good biryani. Overall, it was a very unsatisfying experience that I hope the restaurant takes as constructive feedback for improvement.

We were a large group of around 15 people and we got here for lunch around 3pm. They not only accomodated us but were so prompt in their service. We took their veg thalis and added on fish fry & duck curry. So many various veggies and dals in the thali, all delicious. The duck curry was very different to us and really delicious, absolutely loved our experience here!

The staff is very well behaved. The prices are affordable. It's a very good place for family dine in or with friends. The food is homely and healthy. We had Veg thali and Chicken Dry Fry. They should work on their chicken dry fry. Overall a great experience. Must visit.
