Revisited Kalpana Restaurant after a long time. We used to be regulars here during our college days, some 25-30 years ago. The visit brought back a lot of fond memories. What truly stood out was that the taste has remained just the same over the years, comforting and nostalgic.
Revisited today after 15 years. Still have their charm. Old school place for sweet & snacks in Jorhat strongly competiting with Domino's, KFC etc
Too congested and crowdy which makes it clear how good the food tastes. But there is an urgent need to make it much spacious. Fully vegetarian restaurant. Very delicious and cost-effective.
One of the best restaurant in terms of value for money as well as great quality food. Especially try their CHOLE BHATURE and GAJAR KA HALWA the restaurant in the ground floor is for mithai section and in the first floor you can sit and order food
This restaurant is famous for its Dahi Vada, and I must say, it truly lives up to the hype -- absolutely worth trying! The tea was also amazing. Although I didn't get a chance to try the Rasmalai and other sweets, they looked very tempting and fresh. One downside is the parking -- it's a real issue here. The restaurant is located in a very busy market area, and there's no proper parking space, not even for two-wheelers.
