A Must-Visit for Veg Lovers - Anand Bhavan, Guntur If you're in Guntur and craving a satisfying, authentic South Indian vegetarian meal, Anand Bhavan is the place to be. I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and I can confidently say it's one of the best veg meals I've had in the region. From the moment you step in, the warm hospitality sets the tone. The service is prompt, and the staff ensure you're comfortable and well-attended throughout your meal. Now, onto the highlight - the veg meal. It's a perfect blend of tradition and taste. The rice is served hot and fluffy, accompanied by a delightful array of curry, sambar, rasam - I loved it, and a lip-smacking pachadi. Every item on the plate feels thoughtfully prepared, with just the right balance of spices and home-style comfort. The papad and pickle add a crunchy and tangy contrast, while the curd at the end is the perfect finish to cool down your palate. What truly stands out is the consistency and quality. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this place delivers the authentic taste of Andhra vegetarian cuisine, without compromising on hygiene or flavor. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a wholesome, delicious veg meal in Guntur. I'll definitely be returning...

If you want to have the best homely food, this is a must place. I saw the rice is cooked in brass vessels, no food Colours and food preservatives are used. The food will be like how our grand parents cook for us. I personally liked the food very much. It's the old building with very well maintained with the vintage fans, cement floor, the staff are the best, they treat each of the customers in the same way and gives you very well respect. Note: Pure Veg and Sundays Closed, very near Railway station 7th Platform Entrance.

Nostalgic Tamil atmosphere. I have been frequenting Guntur for many decades, but it was for the first time that I discovered this good place for meals. The moment I entered,it transported me to the olden days when I used to dine in Chennai. This place is so busy that once you take the token for a Thali meal, you have to place the token on one of the tables even while another person is having meals. It is so busy. The service is very efficient. However, the food quality is just above average. They server a number of dishes- including buttermilk apart from a cup of curd. The environment has a particularly old world ambience; evoking fond memories of dining in Tamil Nadu. There are wings in the hotel restaurant, beginning with the dining area. It has lots of old photographs of gods. Another wing has rooms that are of olden days construction. They also remind one of the good olden days. It's a good experience to enjoy your meal.

This place is superb, old not only in looks but also the taste, authenticity is at the max. I enjoyed the Andhra meals here, rice, pappu, gongura, sambar, rasam, curd and butter milk. The place is crowded you might have to wait during peak hours
